Biography

Scott Maxwell is originally from Birmingham, England, where he spent part of his youth career within the Birmingham City FC system. In 2012, he made the move to the United States and quickly established himself within the youth soccer landscape, helping to build and develop programs that have positively impacted hundreds of young players.

After playing a key role in the growth of PSA Princeton’s youth program, Scott joined STA in 2016. One of his most notable achievements has been the creation and expansion of the Supers Program. What started with just five boys and five girls has grown into one of the club’s most successful development pathways, now serving around 1000 players each year.

Throughout his coaching career, Scott has enjoyed success at both the team and club levels. With STA, he has helped teams capture multiple league championships, EDP titles, State Cup championships, and National titles. His commitment to developing players and building successful environments has earned recognition across the youth soccer community, including being named to EDP Soccer’s prestigious 30 Under 30 list.
Known for his passion, work ethic, and commitment to player development, Scott has dedicated his career to creating opportunities for young athletes to learn, grow, and enjoy the game. While proud of the achievements and programs he has helped build, he remains focused on what matters most: developing confident young people, fostering a lifelong love of the game, and making a positive impact on every player and family he works with.
