James Jacobs is originally from South East England, where he began coaching at just 15 years old and earned his UEFA B License at 18. He specializes in Zone 1 player development (U8-U12), focusing on building strong technical foundations, soccer IQ, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game. Before coaching in the United States, James worked with the TDA Soccer School in England, leading teams on competitive tours against professional academy sides including Tottenham Hotspur, Leyton Orient, West Ham United, Southend United, and Gillingham FC. His notable achievements include leading the STA ECNL 09 Boys to a National Final 8 appearance in 2022 and capturing the US Club Soccer National Championship in 2023. James is passionate about developing complete players through a combination of technical excellence, game intelligence, work ethic, and teamwork.
